Sonia Roca is the co-founding partner at Lopez Roca, P.A. Ms. Roca focuses her practice on personal injury litigation, including: bodily injury, property damage, and professional malpractice. In addition to guaranteeing that all cases are handled with diligence and to the highest ethical standard, Ms. Roca also possesses experience as a former attorney for several major insurance companies. Sonia Roca was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She began her education in the Miami Dade County public school system and went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Florida, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. As a result of her multiple achievements in undergraduate school, Ms. Roca was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship while attending the University of Miami School of Law, and earned her Juris Doctorate in 2009 from the University of Miami. Ms. Roca is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She is an active member of the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. Ms. Roca is dedicated to advancing and protecting the rights of minorities in this community through her advocacy.
